Stuffed Potimarron (Hokkaido Squash or Kuri Pumpkin): Submitted by: Martin | Date Added: 11 Oct 2008

Ingredients

2 small potimarrons
1dl of cream
1 onion finely cut
small cubes of smoked lard
(if wished some pieces of white sausage)

Cooking Instructions

Cut the top of the pumkins
Take away the seeds
Scripe out most of the pumpkin flesh
In a pan cook the onion until it takes some colour
Add the lard and the pumpkin flesh
Salt a bit, pepper and add some nutmeg
Add the cream.
Stuff the potimarrons with the filling
Put back the hats
Cook in the oven for about 30 minutes at 180°C
